Take Heart Tuesday I share a negative emotion and

a strategy to overcome it.

Loss: As a person caring for a loved one, you experience many losses: loss of control, loss of independence, loss of income, loss of your best friend, loss of the future, loss of a sense of yourself. Loss leads to grief and depression.

Coping: Identifying your losses can help you to cope with them. When you know what you are feeling, you will be able to look at the loss and think about what might work for you to help you deal with it.
